The giant church organ centre stage was a clue that the religious theme seen in the SS13 menswear collection would continue to be a key theme for designer Riccardo Tisci in this womenswear outing too. The show notes referenced nuns and the 1960’s couture heritage of the Givenchy label. There were similarities to the recent Gucci show in Milan with the cascading ruffle sleeves and exposed backs but Tisci’s colour choice was more delicate, using a soft baby blue as his accent shade amongst black and white.
